Palo Santo, also known as holy wood, has a unique and pleasant aroma. It is the wood from palo santo trees which are found primarily in South America and in some regions of Central America. They're part of the citrus family, with a relation to frankincense and myrrh. Our Palo Santo is sustainably harvested.
Palo Santo was mainly used by Peruvian shamans in their religious and spiritual rituals as a tool to bring good luck, ward off any signs of negativity. It helps deepen meditation and soothes headaches.
Due to its high resin content, it is believed to release its purifying properties when burned. It's used to remove negativity and obstacles.
Burn on a hot incense charcoal in a fire proof container or cauldron. Always burn supervised.
